Licensed Therapist/Clinical Supervisor
Heather provides support to individuals struggling with a variety of life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem issues, life transitions, chronic health and mental health issues, and stress management, with specific training in behavioral therapy for OCD, and is expanding her experience and knowledge in Women’s Health and Couples Therapy. Heather has completed the Maternal Mental Health Certificate Training for Mental Health and Clinical Professionals through Postpartum Support International. Her background is strongly influenced by a person-centered, strengths-based approach that focuses on resilience, empowerment and recovery.
Whether it’s supporting clients in finding their voice, making positive change, or uncovering the meaning and value within life's many hurdles, Heather adapts her approach to each client's unique needs, communication style, and personality. With compassion, patience, and a sense of humor, Heather takes time in building a trusting, therapeutic relationship which she believes is at the foundation of empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives and discover their internal resilience. Heather earned her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Suffolk University.
