Megan Burke, MA

Pre-Licensed Therapist

Supervisor: Heather Guaragna, LMHC

As a pre-licensed mental health counselor, Meg has training and experience working with the perinatal (prenatal, postpartum, parenting, and everything in between) and the LGBTQIA+ community. Meg is passionate about spreading awareness about perinatal mental health and supporting people going through this transformative period. Meg specializes in working with individuals with prenatal and postpartum depression and anxiety, pregnancy and infant loss, birth trauma, infertility, and any of the unique challenges that come up during the perinatal period.
 

Meg’s approach to counseling is trauma-informed and rooted in empathy, mindfulness, and evidence-based practices with a focus on building connection and trust between client and counselor. Meg believes in supporting and empowering the client to help them find the answers they are seeking.


Meg received her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. Meg is currently working towards LMHC licensure and PMH-C. Meg completed Perinatal Mood Disorders and Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy training through Postpartum Support International.


Meg is a member of Postpartum Support International and American Counseling Association.
